In the year 2006, Keita Nono, a schoolboy, meets his old friend, Hinoki Sai when she transfers to his school. Hinoki works for the company, Akamatsu Industrial Company, and control mechs known as Neuronoids. These mechs are linked directly to the pilot’s brain. In order to battle the new threat known as Algernon, Keita takes the place of KIA pilot Cactus and somehow is able to synch with the Neuronoids perfectly, which is known as a Dual Kind. Their battle is supported by the mysterious man named “Betterman,” who has the ability to change into a gigantic bioweapon. Together, can they defeat Algernon?
