Yuu, Hime, and Izumi see a comet in the night sky, and they all make a wish. Hime wishes to eat cake for dinner, and Yuu wants to grow up to protect the weak, to be on the side of justice!
12 years later…
At school, Yuu witnesses a freshman being bullied and does nothing to help him. The bully is the ever-infamous, ever-sadistic Sanada. Even when Sanada calls Yuu over, Yuu looks away, hoping to have nothing to do with any of this. While Sanada does have supernatural powers, he does not have the strong ability to control it, instead, he uses it sheepishly for show to gain petty money.
After school however, he becomes the target of Sanada. Sanada is aware of Yuu’s supernatural abilities and threatens him with a trick of his own. With a simple cutting knife, Sanada releases an enormous amount of power with a swift of his hand. The hand motion completely segments a man’s nose off; leaving Yuu mortified. Sanada soon charges after Yuu, and Yuu braces for whatever doom awaits him, however, he is left untouched. When he looks up, he sees a mysterious girl overlooking him.
